Rack Repair

Upon completion of a rack inspection, a Pallet Rack Inspection BC inspector will compose a highly detailed inspection report, complete with photos, comments and the exact location of problem spots.

Together we will review the document, walking you through any insufficiencies or safety issues revealed by the inspection. In many cases, this might simply identify missing anchors, safety pins or damaged beams and frames. (Warehouses, especially with high inventory turnover, are subject to daily wear-and-tear.)

PRIBC will then recommend what action(s) can be taken to fix or replace damaged racking. Results will be broken down into two categories:

Recommended changes – these deficiencies demand immediate attention, per the new WorksafeBC regulations. In most cases this will be damaged frames and beams that are beyond repair.

Suggested changes – adding racking protection like corner guards, post guards and angle iron – especially in high traffic areas.
